Jeff Ho

Jeff is an actor, creator and pianist from Hong Kong. As an actor, credits include:  Hana’s Suitcase (Tour: Toronto/Montreal/Seattle/YPT), Unknown Soldier (lemontree/Architect Theatre), Beyond Body Politic (Rhubarb 2014/lemontree), Murderers Confess at Christmastime (OutsidetheMarch), Taming of the Shrew, Romeo and Juliet (Repercussion Theatre), The Ark on Fire (National Arts Centre), Orphan Black (BBC America). Most recently, Jeff was part of the Acting Company of the Banff Playwrights Colony 2016.

As a creator, Jeff co-created TEASE, a site specific piece at Jilly’s, the strip club, alongside Julie Tepperman, Amy Keating, Jessica Moss, Sabryn Rock and Andrew Moodie as part of the inaugural Crow’s Theatre Crawl. As an emerging playwright, Jeff has been developing his first piece, trace, with the support of b current and Factory Theatre.  He is a Deep Development Creator at Factory Theatre 2015-2016, was a member of the Banff Playwrights Colony 2015, and Factory Theatre’s Natural Resources Creation Group 2014-2015. Jeff is an Associate Artist with OutsideTheMarch. As well, he was an inaugural invitee of the 2014 Gateway Theatre Pacific Masterclass Series in Richmond, BC. 

Jeff received an Honorable Mention for the SummerWorks 2014 Spotlight Award for Performance for Unknown Soldier as well as the SummerWorks 2013 Theatre Centre Emerging Artist Award for Murderers Confess at Christmastime.  Jeff is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.
